Evening all, I'm putting PIR boards (Quinntherm) between my joists for insulation. Naturally there are gaps where joist are not straight / boards are cut slightly badly. I've never tried foam guns before, so don't know what I'm looking for when it comes to a gun + the foam associated. Ideally it needs to have good insulating properties, fire resistant and good to work with. I'm doing large areas, so ideally something good, but not going to cost the world. This any good, or should I look elsewhere for something more specialist? - https://www.screwfix.com/p/soudal-window-door-installation-foam-kit-gun-grade/1740h This is another one of interest - http://www.insulation4less.co.uk/750ml-tin-fire-rated-expanding-foam Any thoughts? Highly recommend this foam gun, completely stips down for cleaning. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PROFESSI...562266&hash=item3f76530dd4:g:OOcAAOSwfVpYsJ7l FR Foam. https://tradefixdirect.com/expanding-foam/soudal-soudafoam-fr-gun-grade
Either clean it religiously or dont bother. I just leave the can on and it works as well as cleaning it in my opinion.
