    Hi everyone.

Finally sending off our pine interior doors off to be dipped and stripped.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what oil/wax to finish them in? I have been using boiled linseed oil on previous projects with good effect but as I have a fair few doors to be doing I thought it wise to gather some of the collective knowledge on here.

    Cheers gents

Cheers Kiab, Do you have experience of using this yourself? What makes it better than just linseed oil? Appreciate the links.

Here's one of the doors I started stripping before realising it's not worth the effort to do by hand. :D

Gives a lovely finish, as does Osmo Polyx Oil.

If you're going to be authentic than quite a lurid paint.

Haha I'm trying to get away from lurid paint! Whilst stripping the door I found a layer of this green buried deep under multiple layers of white.

Only 28 years out and he didn't say it was the bottom layer.
