Hi, has anyone had experience of the Axminster router (approx £90.00) Ideally I would go for a Festool or a Trend T9, but funds are somewhat constrained at the moment (not true!, always constrained)

The primary use would be in my Trend CRT table and I therefore look for something that
a; Can be locked on, and
b; The height adjuster can be operated in the inverse position, and of course, we all know that position's everything.

My maximum budget is £150

Cheers

Somehow, the title of my note got truncated and should read "1/2" Routers

Do a search on here. This has been covered quite a bit recently. If I remember correctly there is the PowerPro(?) from B&Q at about £100 possibly reduced to £80 otherwise you will have to save up a bit more as the better 1/2" stuff starts around the £160 mark.

I think the B&Q superstores are doing a Trend 1/2" budget machine for around £100 at the moment.

Go for the Freud - £165 in Screwfix - excellent for table use
