Need to replace the felt on my shed, as its leaking badly, Thinking of getting the £30 from Wickes. Ive always done this in summer. when its warmer. Am i going to be ok doing it in winter? Would the cheaper stuff £20,be more flexible? Any thougts please.
    Thanks.

Use a good green mineral felt for the shed.

Use Onduline corrugated bitumen sheets - also available from Wickes at £17 per sheet (900 x 2000). It outlast your shed!

Thanks both, will that be flexible in the colder weather?

Also, dont mind doing a decent job, but I am moving house and leaving it behind. Does that make a difference to your advice?

    Ta.

Well then keep it cheap & simple felt, pointless wasting good money on a shed, next owner might dump the shed.

I've used the Wickes IKO super shed felt which is what I think your referring to

It certainly is much better quality than bog standard shed felts and a whole lot heavier but........Its still shed felt so will have a limited life span for sure

If you can, leave the roll in the house overnight so it warms ups and becomes slightly more pliable, or cut your lengths outside then bring the cut lengths in for a warm overnight stay :)
