    Hi
Located this gate which is the correct size of my one. But it has to do direct on to the wall..

Will that be good to fit?

My gate is only half the height of yours, but it does have some decorative ironwork. I fixed mine using 8 x 75 mm thunderbolts through 10 mm holes into brick work. No problems in about 8 years.

The ones mentioned by our host, will they do then? they not listed as thunderbolts?
    They need to be galavanised?

CORRECTION.........10 mm through 12 mm holes. Mine are not galvanised and have not rusted.....And I get salt air from the sea.

Also my stone work is not level so if the bar doesnt screw in flush against the wall...whats the best way to over come it?

    Galvanised washers as packing pieces.

Have normal ones but not galvanized..
Any other way to protect the bolts in a similar way?

The blacksmith who made my gate & railings, told me that if he was doing any fitting and anything was out of true, he used off-cuts of lead sheeting as shims, as the colour blended in with the galvanised colouring.

    Guys
Bit if an issue while fiitng the bar against the wall.
As it's not flushed, the gap is too wide in between.

    I have some M10 bolts at 100m

Will it do the job as I want to do it right first time round so the whole doesn't get bigger by taking in an out.

What's min hight from the groin the gate should be too?
Speedy response would be much appreciated.

How can I make it flush
