My electric shower is currently running of a spur, however I have just installed underfloor heating and need to get another power feed to run this. The power feed to the shower is coming off a spur. Can I run the shower wire into a box and split it so that I get two power feeds one for the shower and one for underfloor heating. If so what type of box do I need to run this into.

Mate I don't like saying this and normally wouldn't. The shower you have is put in entirely the wrong way. My advice to you is do not touch it and call in a competent electrician to evaluate the situation. I say this with no reference to Part P, but this is prime example of a potentialy highly dangerous situation. Leave alone. JP.

Get someone in to check this out, i take it the shower supply is for a pump only otherwise you may be seriously overloading something.

JP, I know what you are saying with this, but it is possible that the "electric" shower may just be a power shower rather than an instantaneous electric.
In saying this, however, you are absolutely right - he should get a spark in.

Thanks Steve for pointing that out. JP.

If you give some more info, perhaps someone will be able to assist.

What type of electric shower is it?
Where is this spur? (under the bath, in the cupboard on the landing?)
    Is the spur fused?
