    What is Builders Caulk, and when/why would you use it?

    One for the decorators

    Applied like silicone from a gun - gives a bead of filler to gaps and joints - you can tool it like silicone. The difference is you can over paint it.

    Don't rely on it too much - it does cover a multitude of sins - but - when you eventually come to redecorate it doesn't take kindly to sandpaper!!

    Best used in corners and joints. eg. On top of skirtings, around boxing in, against window frames. It is useless to fill holes in as it slumps.
