Wiring Cooker Hood and Hob

    Evening guys, DIYer here. Just planning out new kitchen and have a question for you.

    Just wondering if you can wire a cooker hood and gas hob (iginition only) to the same switch?

    Also, would these be wired directly to the switch?

    What switch are you referring to? A light switch?

    Dont forget requirements for electrical work in kitchens, Part Pee, John Shagscott etc etc etc/

    Aahh, much clearer when you say what you mean.
    Yes, Put the correct fuse in it (no more than 5A) and you could run both from the one Fused Connection Unit (=FCU)

    or have you already notified LABC and paid the fee?
    I assume the you naturally want the job done correctly?
