studwork prices

    first time message. i recently left my company and am subbing from someone on a new build site in west london, and think he is being funny with the prices. could anyone tell me how studwork is measured up on site and what the rates are please. i would be very grateful

    £3 a metre.

    what about stud + board + skim? how would i price that,

    Long time since I did any studwork on price but it's more likely to be the one you missed out.

    £3 per m2 you must be going broke charging that. say a section of studwork 2.6 high x 4.0 long you would charge around £35. Sorry I would want at least £120 to do that

    so are you saying about £12 pound a m2 then golden boy? or do you have any idea for a linear metre please?

    All i am telling you is what i would charge a customer. i dont work on linear metres etc. i eye a job up and price accordingly. condition of property, arsy customer, etc

    Don't confuse site prices with what can be charged for private work.

    One bit of studwork in an occupied house is going to take longer/cost more than the same thing on site, and there's only one of them in a house, on site you will likely have several more to move on to.

    i've really pulled your chain havent i mazball. i do know what Im talking about. What I was asked was whether i charge by linear metre. I dont.
