I have a mirror that is stuck onto plaster with mirror adhesive, around the edge of the mirror there is a 4mm gap.

I want to fill this gap and then paint the filler, can I just use standard decorators filler or will it (like standard silicone) attack the mirror in any way?

Can't find a bit of plastic trim to go round it, I suppose ? Like tile edging trim ?

Or maybe it's round. Hmmmm !

    Mr. HandyAndy - really

If I trim it then it will ruin the effect of having a single wall as a mirror, I want to fill and paint, any glaziers on tonight?

Mungo, you're right, I think it'll be fine, I just don't want to ruin an expensive and labour intensive to fit mirror.
