Can anyone tell me why I can't seem to get a sparky to connect my lights on my drive, they are 5 low voltage drive over lights and all the wiring cable is in, and supplied, all the lights and casings are supplied. I have the transformer and the timer unit. No one wants the job! I have called and left messages, emailed and got 0 replies. Are you all sooooooooooooo busy? I am in North East London.

I am considering doing the work myself, but I don't want to blow my house up as I am not fully trained.

If you are prefared to do the "Donkey work", ie: digging etc,

Then you really should wait until you get hold of a spark and agree it with him/her.

He/she will need to see that you dug the hole at the minimum depth permissable. And there are also other factors too.

Its because there is next to no profit to be made on the job. Someone would have to be desperate to take that poxy little job on.

That is exactly, what I was referring too.

If they prefered to the donkey work, IE digging - then op should wait and consult with the spark first.

Otherwise he/she doesn't know how deep op, has gone.
