fillers for repairing (limestone?) window sill?

Hi, I'm stripping down the paint off the (limestone?) window sill as I'm wanting to repaint it and repair the damage / fill cracks and chips etc that have happened over the years.

What external fillers would be best for the job that would stick and last? Not found much info online, I guess most people just repaint!

Sanding will only get so much out, and obviously not fill damage.

    Thanks, replies appreciated

Use Decorfill or one of the other 2 part fillers.

As you are going to overpaint, you will not go wrong with what 244 has suggested. If you were not going to overpaint and wished to match limestone, different story, but can be done.

Thanks! expensive fillers but will give it a go. The whole cill and window is half stripped now.. I'm hoping after it's done, filled sanded and painted I'll think that it's worth it - got a feeling maybe the whole thing is a bit of a pointless excersise and no one will notice the difference :(
