Hi, I have stacked railway sleepers 4 high to make a retaining wall. I want to drive 1500mm steel pins through them to the ground to fix them in position. How can I drill a 10mm hole through 4 sleepers? This is about 1000mm in length. Anyone know of a 700mm drill extention?
    Thanks

Flat drill bit extenders are 300mm long but you can join them to make 600/900/1200 etc etc.

get a drill bit and some rodding , weld the bit onto the rod and your off, make the rod a smaller diameter than the drill bit to allow for the saw dust

bit late now, but praps you could have secured the first layer of sleepers to the ground,(easier to drill through one sleeper), and then use plate straps to secure the others to each other on the back side so as they aren,t visible.

just my thoghts on the issue!!
