We live in a house built around 1970 and it has a brick porch on the from with a flat felt roof. The roof is still ok but it's now about 22 years old and will need replacing. We're thinking of replacing it with a sloping tiled roof which would look better. It's 2m x 3m exactly. Two questions, do we need planning permission and what would be an approximate cost?

    Thanks

The cost varies from council to council.
