Bottle trap or P trap?

I am about to replace my kitchen sink with a 1.5 version and using new waste fittings.
Considering the bottle trap and the P trap, is one more suitable than the other for kitchen use?
Does the P trap give a better rate of flow out, and is it less likely to get blocked?
Any guidance would be much appreciated.

    A P trap will flow a bit better, a bottle is more compact. Use either...or a S trap ;)

NOT a bottle trap. Easily clogged with food etc.
