Possibly had underpriced the other job and was trying to offset it.

What was the other job, and how long did that take?

The MWC or EIC should be interesting.

Sounding a bit iffy now if I am being honest. Did she have a milwaukee packout by any chance?

:p:D Sounds like I've opened a can of worms here. But the lights work and it looks grand, and I have enough info to help me assess quotes in future if I ever decide to get more downlights put in. Thanks all.

Female spark, thats the problem, i've only worked with two - bring the profession into disrepute, i'll bet she didn't leave grubby finger marks on the ceiling round the lights, didn't leave bits of coloured plastic insulation in the corners, probably hoovered up. We need to strike I say, its not on!!

Totally unnaceptable and I would hate to have to follow her on jobs. I bet she has brushes irons and other cleaning gear on her van.

I'll bet you can actually read the writing on her circuit labels too, and all the wires going to the breakers will have a perfect neat little pigtail curl - its just too much.

hmm, not sure how one earths the braid in a collingwood downlighter connector box?? - just a thought now, does SY comply with BS7671 or not for luminaire connections??:D:D:D

Yes and probably all correspond to the right circuit to just to add insult to injury

She needs SY incase she runs it over with her milwaukee wheels

Milwaukee wheels would come off if they went over a bit of sy:p

they have been tested against terrorist attacks and fired upon with apache helicopters, javelin missiles and cleaned up afterwards with wonder wipes and put back on the shelf for sale.

you mean you charge £360 an hour?

£120 fir 20 minutes while already there is taking the pis$ in my opinion

The nonsense about skill, training etc is irrelevant- any trade can use that as justification.
