£120 for install of two supplied downlights... expensive or not?

Possibly had underpriced the other job and was trying to offset it.

What was the other job, and how long did that take?
 
:p:D Sounds like I've opened a can of worms here. But the lights work and it looks grand, and I have enough info to help me assess quotes in future if I ever decide to get more downlights put in. Thanks all.

Totally unnaceptable and I would hate to have to follow her on jobs. I bet she has brushes irons and other cleaning gear on her van.
 
I'll bet you can actually read the writing on her circuit labels too, and all the wires going to the breakers will have a perfect neat little pigtail curl - its just too much.

Yes and probably all correspond to the right circuit to just to add insult to injury

you mean you charge £360 an hour?

£120 fir 20 minutes while already there is taking the pis$ in my opinion

The nonsense about skill, training etc is irrelevant- any trade can use that as justification.
