Screwfix Select
So there I was sat in my local Japanese restaurant chewing the cud with some Japanese friends and just discussing the strength of the Yen etc.
I looked up and on the ceiling was a Mitsubishi air conditioning unit. Looking further along the line of the ceiling and more Mitsubishi units. The owner drove up in a Mazda car.
This got me thinking how loyal these Japanese are to their own brands when there are plenty of other brands to select.
What a pity we dont follow suit and be loyal to british manufacturers. End of rant,.

They may be loyal to their own staff, but not to their UK staff.

Closure of Honda UK cost subsidiaries (including the company I worked for, we made power steering for the Civic and shocks for the CRV, along with pass through parts for many other Honda vehicles). Loss of around 10k UK jobs in total.

Closed Honda Turkey with the knock on effects there.

Manufacturing moved to Mexico and Japan.

Wouldn't touch a Honda now with a barge pole (or @Ind spark s belly after all that chocolate :D)
