I have one radiator in the house that will go hot like the others for a few hours and then stone cold for half an hour or so then hot again. What could be causing this?

Ive bled them all and released any air

    Thanks

Is your central heating run from a combi boiler ,a System boiler ( gravity fed ,tank in loft ) or other ?

Hi, its a Worcester Greenstar camray 12/18 oil boiler

Im not too sure in the setup type as this is what was in the house when we moved in a few months ago.

But 2 radiators had quite abit of air in them when i bled them

    Thanks

It’s probs not air!!! When you bleed it being careful, put a match to the gas coming out. If it burns with a colourless flame it’s its hydrogen. This is caused by corrosion!! System needs cleaning and treating.

Do you have a magnetic filter fitted to system.

Try opening and closing both of the valves a couple of times also turn all the other rads off and let the heat/pump concentrate on that single faulty radiator for a few minutes.
