you can google the processes to find out what they are.

Putting more memory will definately help as will right clicking my computer-properties-advanced go to the settings tab under performance click the radio button which says adjust for best performance.

Ok, it chust happened again - big time.

I was on 'Pricerunner' and tried to bookmark the page. Clicked on 'Bookmark' and the TV started freezing. Got task Manager up and it was Firefox that was running at 98% (100% CPU overall), and it stayed like this for a good 10-15 seconds, with the Bookmark thingy not coming down.

    Whatthefcuk?

    Any ideas?

What joy for me to find someone's replied to my thread - and then to realise it was only admin.

Well as I'm obviously 'admin', take heed and post something unboring or I'll not only obliterate you from this forum, I'll also give you a virus that that'll make you wish you hadn't bought a pc in the first place.

    Fair enough.

Did I ever tell you about the number of screws I need to remove before getting into my computer?

If you bothered with Google DA - you'd have found there is a known conflict that you are experiencing! ***.

I know, try some no-nails in a spare USB hole.

'Tis 3 on one side and 2 on t'other.

One on each side has a plastic knurled knob on it so's it can be removed without the aid of a screwdriver, but that's pretty pointless (not literally) 'cos you still require a screwdriver for the remaining screws.

What I'm trying to say is there's no point undoing the knurled ones on there own 'cos that won;t get you in to the computer.

I usually undo the screwdriver-screws first so's I can then just undo the others by hand which is a surprisingly satisfying thing to be able to do.

    Were you close, Hunty?
