Please help. I am fitting some base units diagonally across a corner so the angle is 135 not 90. I need to fit a corner post but cannot work out how to fit it. It only seems to work at 90. Any suggestions? Oh the kitchen came from Howdens and they say that it is the only corner post they do.

You'll have to 'manufacture' your own using whats available from Howdens to match.

    Ask a proper joiner if it's beyond U! ;)

Correct! Corner posts are for 90 deg corners!

you need to use some plinth and cut it at 27.5 degrees along the joining edges then cut them to 720 in height by whatever width you actually need to complete the join.all you need is a small table saw, a chopsaw and a biscuit jointer and your away!
now you see why real kitchen fitters earn the BIG BUCKS! ;)
