has been calculated as being the date when Remainers in the UK will outnumber Leavers even if everyone who voted last time were to do so in exactly the same way again. Isn't that a lovely thought?! The curmudgeonly ol' xenophobes are literally dying off at a helpful rate, leaving the WILL OF THE PEOPLE of this country more in the hands of those who actually stand to be affected by the decision. Quite poetic I thought.
We should never have gotten to the stage where we voted. It crazy.. We were in the EU and now we will be out, and I think we will be back in again at some point. Be the next generation that votes on that though.. I'm past caring now. It going to be a nightmare like any divorce
Sadly for you remoaners, if "everyone" who voted last time were to do so in exactly the same way again, the result would still be 52% in favour. (note the use of the words "Everyone who voted last time" in DA's original post)
What about all those who were too young to vote who are now old enough to? Do we know how they will vote or shall we just apply the same 52% leave result? makes sense, yes? I think it would prove difficult for EVERYONE to vote again ................
I'd like to see the calculations behind that assumption. Got a link, DA? Are you hoping there is another referendum?
It takes in to account the new young voters - who are roughly 7:1 in favour of Remain. The yoof of today are in rude ethical & moral health.
Or perhaps they simply aren't as xeno, probably due to them being 'swamped by all these immigrants' - and finding them to be largely pretty cool.
DA you made the original schoolboy error with your original post claiming that if “ everyone” who voted last time, now voted exactly the same way, Remain would win. No sir, your point is the technical impossibility , as “ everyone “ who voted last time are not all around, so you can’t have “ everyone” who voted last time, now voting exactly the way they voted last time. Perhaps you should consider changing the wording of your original statement ( and leave out the one word “ everybody”)

And that's saying something. I mean, you believe just about anything that fits your agenda. Are you hoping there is another referendum? Makes most sense, doesn't it? Tho' a hard one should act as a suitable deterrent to the world-wide stupidity, so either is fine. I'd go for another one so long as we can hold yet 'another' if I don't agree with the result. Seems fair!
How do you reckon a ref held now would fair, Longs? Seriously, honestly - what is your understanding of the most likely outcome?
Bloody hell DA, you were a teacher, do you not understand the words “ everyone who voted in the last referendum “ ?
