    theres a reason why worm drive saws arnt avaliable in this country, its been hinted at above


    they arnt CE approved for two reasons at least

    no kerf knife and no brake

    alot more of the blade is showing on alot of these saws which makes it alot easier for those compond cuts in roofs. In my opinion that makes it safer to use as you are not messing around with the gaurd to start the cut but then a stupid rule stops us using them

    cheers cotb that is exactly what i want it for ease of use its either that or you have to use an oversize saw which i dont like doing

    how much did you pay for it and when are you expecting it?
    I want to get 1 and maybe a prazi beam cutter to use with it

    ive stopped the order now i asked them to hold it im gunna get it from internationaltool but im still not sure bout the power cable maybe you could help ive seen those beam cutters they look mad

    i would go for a regular saw like the skil then if the cable gets damaged you can replace it. I think i will get the 8 1/4 skil with the 60 degree bevel as i think it will be the most useful but will also look what saws are compatable with the beam cutter

    im mainly going for the bosch because it has arafter hook and direct connect but if the cord gets damaged i should still be able to repair it safely as when i get it im going to have to re wire it to make it 110 volt

    the skil has a hook ? ahh it also has 60 degree bevel are you trying to talk me out of the bosch lol ?

    well the skil was my first choice i was also told about porter cable but when i saw the bosch i thought it looked the dogs i will read a bit more then decide

    how bad do you need the prazzi do you do oak beams and alike

    i would check about the hook think but alot of places sell it with a hook
