Hello chaps, I am looking for 2 x 0.75mm flat cable. Used for double insulated household appliances.

Not having much luck in finding it. :(

Does two core flat have the same properties as two core oval?

It's just the extrusion on the outer jacket as far as I know.
Stranded is more expensive (than solid) and only worth the extra for flexes or temporary runs.

Ah, -yep it;s the shape of the "funnel" (for want of a better word) that the liquid PVC (or whatever) flows in before it's cooled.
The conductors are coated, then they are held or twisted etc; finally they are sprayed with liquid compound then pushed through the extrusion under water pressure; which cools the whole lot off.

As far asd I know (and I'm a loooong way from being a sparky) Class II is 2 core cable, and unless it needs to be heat resistant you can use PVC 2 core oval or round. It would need to be stranded.
