40mm doors in 35mm frame

    Hi,

    We have a fixed 35mm deep door frame for a pair of doors, with no loose stop. Would 40mm doors in the frame look awful, bearing in mind the doors will be open the vast majority of the time and will only be seen if we're sitting in the lounge with the doors closed.

    I'm not sure what that is you measured. Looks more like door stop. Although in the wrong place. Also 2 sizes of door thickness available.

    You could enlarge that rebate to 40mm with some battens as a saw guide, hand held circular saw and a multi tool.

    Thanks for the reply, unfortunately the glazed doors we are looking for only come in 40mm.
