hi all, have got some 20mm 600*600 crema marfil polished marble tiles. Am hoping sum1 can shed some light on problems below.

Stain 1 - tiles have a mesh backing on em set in a resin/ hot glue type stuff, prob is u can see the check pattern of the mesh thru on the face of the tile. Tile shop says oh itll be moisture, have had 1 inside for 2/3 wks and near a radiator but pattern still on face.

Stain 2 - this looks like sumthing ie rain has run down the tile face whilst theyve still been in pallet (covered up tho). Again not dried out over week or 2 and seems to have taken the polish off the face, almost pitted. This 1 the shop says theres enough acid in our rain to damage them!!! if this is true why not stipulate they must be stored inside ( but who has room for 5 pallets of stone inside?)
