Hi all, I’ve recently installed a boxed in section around the perimeter of my kitchen at ceiling level with dimmable led downlights around the room (19 in total). Everything’s in and works great but I’d like to put a light under one of the kitchen units and ideally I’d like to have it come on with the downlights I’ve installed. I have one left over (as I bought 2 10 packs). I’m thinking just to connect it to the nearest downlight but I’m worried this might affect the downlights further down the line, maybe making them slightly dimmer or something? Am I worrying over nothing or should i add the extra light at the end of the chain to be safe? Cheers

If they are mains powered downlights, then no problem connecting to the nearest one using an appropriate junction.
