    Hi guys

I am looking for an advice from your experience regarding decking and summer house.

I have a weathered decking which left untreated for 4 years. I m looking to restore as the stain if flaking off.

I m going wash and sand it before applying anything .

The thing i m not sure about is if applying 2 costs maybe of wood presever first, and then oil would the best approach.

My goal is not only to restore it but also to protect it and provide longevity.

Although doing the above technic makes sense but i m a bit concerned about something. The wood might absorb the presever( clear colour ) and by the time we add oil ( green colour ), the timber might become saturated already and would not be able to absorb the oil .

I m considering using sadolin classic oil and barrettine premier universal preserver as a pre coat.

Your advice would highly appreciated and followed.

    Kindest regards
