    Hi Everyone,

I purchased an Alphatek 3660 insulation tester from EBay. I have no instruction manual for it and have spent some time googling but have not found one as yet and I have also emailed the company but no reply as yet.

It appears to work OK apart from displaying "24" when I first switch it on and I would like to know what this means.

I have tried fitting new batteries and it makes no difference.

Does anybody know what "24" means on startup ?

If anybody can give me any tips where to get the user manual from I would be grateful.

    Thanks in advance...

    Steve

Have you put new "decent" batteries in it?, I have a (fairly old now) Metrohm digital insulation tester, it won't work on cheap batteries or rechargeables, just gives a screen "--1" and won't read - different make, different country of origin, different age, but could be a similar issue - also check the fuse, usually in the battery compartment is present and OK.
