Another asbestos floor tile query..

  1. Hi guys, I have started taking up laminate flooring in dining room, ready for new flooring. After taking up the laminate underlay I've found these tiles. Screenshot_20210724-154420_Gallery.jpg

They are light grey with dark grey specs, measure 1 foot square. The house was built in the 80's.
I would like to know if its safe for me to remove these myself.
Thanks in advance for any help!

They look like vinyl tiles and should be safe to take up.

They look like asbestos tiles to me, but will still be safe to take up gently with a thin bladed filling knife or scraper. Wear a decent dust mask and try to remove them whole rather than breaking them into pieces. The asbestos content is low in them, so just be sensible.

Asbestos tiles. Low risk and pop up easy.
We took entire house up and boxed up and dumped years ago. Check council tip to see if you can apply to dump.

Many around me just dump at tip having heard what some pay
  5. Thanks for the help guys, will get on with it today.
