Antiscold valve low pressure

weve got one of these valves with cold and hot water inlet going into it with the mixed water going to the hot taps on two small basins.

However the ‘hot’ water from these basin taps literally just dribbles out, there is absolutely no pressure.

Yet the hot water for the kitchen sink is T’d off the hot water before it goes into this valve and it’s got a good pressure.

    Any ideas?

looks like its been tampered with ;)

That valve will automatically reduce down the mixed hot flow to a very weak flow if it senses insufficient hot/cold water on its inlets, could be insufficient water getting to the TMV its built in filters may be blocked or It may just be faulty or incorrectly adjusted.

If it can be repaired or is exchanged the temperature will need to be suitably set for the basin users, not more than 41°C maximum or less depending on the intended use.

It was literally lifted from one area with a sink and installed on a new bit elsewhere.

    Gah
