Any suggestions?

I'm trying to improve the edge between my neighbours lawn and the edge of my drive. The boundary is roughly the edge of the plum coloured slate which has scattered everywhere. The distance is about 200mm from the back of the brick edging. I was thinking of bedding some brick paviours on cement but the haunch for the brick edging is too high leaving only about 25mm to 30mm. I could break it out but that could get messy I think. I would like it to look ok for me and my neighbour and be durable and something I can stand on when getting out the car because the drive is a bit on the narrow side.
    Any suggestions please?

Concrete with pebbles or stone pushed in top

Or coloured concrete with pattern in and put sealers over.

    Or slabs cut to width

All good suggestions but I'd go for slabs cut to width.
