Anyone know what sort of valve this is

    Heating in the house wont work and hot water is working as usual tried to find a three port valve but all I could find was this and a manifold box in which is connected to the cylinder.

    Looks like a mid-position valve missing a few bits.

    there is a screw you need to turn this so its inline with the arrow to top up then turn off again...well that's what it looks like to me the expert user heat will no more..

    Does look like a mid position valve although there was never a cover on it and no power supply anywhere close to it.

    So would this sort of work like a quickfill loop ?

    Now home on pc, I can see it has a tube partly filled with a liquid.

    It looks familar to me, but it's name is eluding me.

    Yes it has a tube partly filled with liquid I tried roasting the score into the position of the arrow but had no joy
