Hi, we need a new (electric) strimmer for the edges/margins of our smallish lawn. Based on our experience with past models, the Key Requirements in order of importance are: (1) A feed system which actually works and stays working - is there a manual feed type? (the automatic "bump" ones only worked for us for a few weeks) (2) Single nylon line (NOT NOTCHED) which is a common standard size and available everwhere now and in three years time. (3) Powerful enough for downing nettles (e.g. 500 W minimum?). (4) Mains fed with long mains cable. (5) Easy to dismantle and re-thread the line. Does anyone have a suggestion of a make which comes close? - Expense no object! - We just want a really good one Many thanks for any thoughts/comments/recommendations diymostthings
