Anyone seen this type of fault in a laminate worktop before?

    As you are aware, however good, knowledgeable & experienced you are on kitchens, I completely disagreed with you with respect to consumer law & rights when it come to manufacturing defects.
    We decided to take the offer of a refund made by the manufacturer/supplied via Selco.
    I've just spent an hour at the customers house, cut off the offending overhanging corner/sticking new edge on, and she thinks it looks much better and subtle with the new chamfer edge anyway, and we split the refund between us. (win - win).
    I'm fully aware that you found the chance of me getting a refund as 'inconceivable', and I could be making it up, so please see refund picture below.
    In the nicest possible way, just as you help people on here with your knowledge, It may be of help to you & others if you look at the consumer laws on this. Here's a link.     Well done and agrees with my view in the fifth post. The right outcome from the supplier!
