Hi,

I'm trying to identify the names of the genes where the following SNP's are located;

rs2904106
rs9444564
rs10420798
rs11695478

I'm going round in circles
Many thanks.

that would be medical. I do know there are medical databases that deal with specific SNP’s to link them specifically to certain diseases.

someone with a medical background would have to let you know about the gene side of it.

try medical specific forums, or if it is a personnel issue/family maybe your gp can help you.

Thanks CBE. All kinds of people do DIY, so it's worth asking. I'm using other sites too. I know the disease already, that's not why I'm researching it, but thanks. It'd terrify my GP LOL - they're not geneticists.

Pity that Carol. As a keen geneticist myself I would have helped you out. I see it says you now have your answer so I won’t bore you with the specifics. My love of this subject started when I was only 5 years old.
