Pulling up the carpet in my new home and found these brown tiles in the hallway.

Looking to lay laminate flooring but worried they could be asbestos and conscious the carpet grip has been nailed into them.

    Anyone any ideas / advice?

    Yeah probably asbestos.
Can stick gripper vs nail but carpet fitters don't seem to worry as 1000s of houses have those tiles including every house on my estate build in 1960s.

We popped the lot up in 30 mins and dumped at tip years ago. Glad we did
