Pulling up the carpet in my new home and found these brown tiles in the hallway.

Looking to lay laminate flooring but worried they could be asbestos and conscious the carpet grip has been nailed into them.

    Anyone any ideas / advice?

Yeah could be asbestos. 1960s. We took our entire house up and dumped them. Only took a hour or so as they pop up easy with scraper.
Our entire estate of 1000s of houses have these asbestos tiles and my father in law fitted loads back in the day.
I know some pay £1000s to get them removed but are low risk as no dust is created and carpet fitters don't seem to worry about them although some glue the grippers down.
