    Hi Lads,

Can anyone recommend a paint to use on my concrete garage floor. At the moment its kicking up loads of cement dust.

    Cheers

I did my garage with the Screwfix floor paint. I vacuumed the floor first and then applied the product direct. It did, however, soak up the first coat and required a second coat. I found that using a foam roller to apply it, used a lot less paint than a brush. The finished surface seems pretty tough and it much easier to keep clean.

Same as above - good finish, but the first coat just seems to disappear...

PVA & Water 5:1 will stop dust coming up. You may have to give it a second coat, or paint the floor paint over if you want the colour.

A cheap paint you could use is 'Drive Seal' made by Thompsons - Wickes have their own brand stuff.

About £10 for 5 litres, designed for applying to tired tarmac and concrete, so it's pretty durable.

Any colour you like, as long as it's black.
