Normally Closed (NC) Relays

Just doing a bespoke install at the mo.

I need a relay that returns to ON when the power is back.

Does 'RC' in a relay code stand for automatic ReClosing?

and is this the same as Normally-closed (NC)?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Most relays return to on when the power is back and would be called normally open NO

I'm not sure what the code RC means but NC contacts on a relay mean the contacts are closed when the coil isn't energised and they open when the coil is energised.

RC (residual circuit)module
RC circuit modules are used for AC and DC coils. The reverse voltage peaks of the coil are limited by the RC module to approximately 2.5 times the nominal voltage of the supply. The relay release time increases insignificantly.
