    Hi
I have just had a block paving and sandstone patio job done and looks like I have been royally done. Everything falls towards the house. I now know it is a firm of travelers so the chances of getting them back is nil and every time I have called it has been my problem!!!. I believe gas lighting is the term these days. I have a sandstone patio at the back of the house which falls towards the house 1:80 from the garden. The patio does have a slight slope towards the corner along the wall of the house but that only has a fall of about 1.5 cm across the whole 5 meters. The block paving to the side also falls towards to the house with a lot bigger slope with just the narrow gravel for drainage. I have not experienced any pooling yet with all the rain but wondered if I have been lucky and this will be a real problem when winter comes, or is it OK as long as I don't seal anything and change the drainage. Or am I paranoid. It just goes against everything I have now read regarding falls and drainage. The Patio area is 5 x 2 meters and I am just wondering if the sandstone is soaking all the water up before it gets to the house. It has easy joint in between the slabs which is also porous. The block paving at the side is 12 meters long with just a 12cm gravel strip alongside it. I have attached photos. I am wondering if I need to dig up the gravel and put in aco drain at the side of the house and also cut strip out of patio and do the same. Or if I haven't experience pooling am I ok and very lucky. My wife and I just hit our 60s and were trying to make everything low maintenance as we start aging but the whole job was very stressful, neighbors were threatened, as was I, and I now want to check what hasn't been done properly that could come back and bite us in the next 10 years or so. First time post so forgive me if I have done something wrong/
    Thanks
