    Hi

I am replacing my bath and have removed the original one today. I attach pics showing the waste pipe setup.

Should I redo this pipework so that the pipe will meet the new bath waste as per the 3rd picture or leave as it is? Or does anyone have any other suggestions? I assume a 45 would be better than a 90.

    Any advise greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Redo it - assuming there is space under the bath. That will shorten the run and remove two 90 bends. Or come towards the front with a short length and a 45 to join the existing

  3. Would go with third picture, would also fit full bore isolation valves on the hot and cold.

Another idea could be to have the waste at the other end.
It could impede access to the taps and the pipework would need altered but it’s an idea.
