I’m redoing my bathroom and wondered if I could get some comments/feedback from the more experienced. I have a tiled bathroom which appears to be tiles on backer board screwed unto OSB. I plan on removing the tiles and backerboard then replacing with cladding on a backer attached to the OSB. I want the room to be tanked so I’m deliberating between using KERDI board or moisture resistant plasterboard with a sealant. I’m currently leaning on the latter as KERDI is not load bearing. Any opinions, tips or recommendations on boards, sealants or other processes etc would be appreciated. Many Thanks, PS: does screwing the tongues of cladding destroy waterproof barriers?
