    Hi,

I’m trying to identify the return to allow a magnetic filter to be installed.

    Any help is appreciated.

Please see the attached- the 2 pipes outlined red are ones that heat up quickly from starting the boiler. The pipe outlined green is Luke warm after 10 mins.

    There’s a chance there’s not a common return there.
You could have a separate heating and water return.

hi, does the magnetic filter need to go on the return? Could I alternatively place it else where?

With having an older type boiler I don’t see an issue with the filter on the flow.
There’s not really enough space on the flow pipe to fit the filter. It would ideally need to be fitted before the mid position valve.

You’re right that probably won’t be possible. Any other ideas that would help?
