Hi, we have a property with an old BAXI boiler that doesn't work.
Looking to get an idea of how much it would cost to repair or how readily spare parts are available.
I know it depends on the part.

Since it doesn't ignite, I'm assuming it has something to do with the gas valve?

It seems parts are still available. Doesn’t automatically mean the gas valve. Maybe consider a Baxi fixed price repair?

Take a large hammer........ That boiler has had it's day, it will cost a fortune in gas to run, cut your losses, get it changed.

if you budget won't go to a new boiler, it may be worth getting an engineer to look at it, it's possible it may just require a new pilot assembly and thermocouple ?

    good luck
