Crocs are hardly camp, they are trendy, youthful and says what sort of a person you are. They ooze personality and have an air of tradition meets modern and have an upbeat feel to them.

Traditional shoes are hand made using a wooden last...making each shoe slightly different. Crocs are injection moulded and identical. Surely that's not you bright_Spark?

technicaly you are correct, however each Croc has its own personality, the injection mould makes no difference to this fact. I have crocs in various colours and each pair brings something different to the table, so they actually are traditional in that sense.Traditional shoes are hand made using a wooden last...making each shoe slightly different. The level of sophistication a pair of crocs bring can only be felt in the wearing and not by holding them in the hand. I would urge everyone to try a pair on in the shop, close your eyes and just walk around, I garantee you will be walking out of the shop with several pairs,
