Hello. We got a new house. Any chances we will be able to straighten these two plastic pipes (so they go vertically down to the floor) if we uplift the carpet? Any considerations? Many thanks.

Depends on what's below the flooring. Of course it's possible to ammend pipework to a different position ,it's a question of how much work is involved ,and you will not know until you expose the Pipework below floor level. Is it worth it ???

Probably worth considering if any other work needs doing around the house to the CH system which would require a drain down, and carry out at the same time

    Carpet and floorboards up

As Terry mentions, see what the layout is below, re. pipes and joists

Cut plastic, join onto copper and bring up dead level through floor to rad valves

Plastic pipe widely used now (separate discussion always follows this topic :)) but generally agreed that copper pipe should be bought up above floor to rad valves

Anything can be done however !
