Best paint for galvanised metal?

    The galv coating on the boat trailer is well weathered but in good, intact condition. This is really for a cosmetic tart-up more than anything - might as well make it look good since it's had a new axle and rebuilt hitch.

    Any suggestions for an easy to apply durable paint? I think 'satin' preferably.

    Bedec Barn Paint, apply directly over the galv coating, good cosmetic finish and easy to apply, satin black finish available from competitor (Toolstation) @ £29.99 foe 2.5Ltr. ;)

    Hmmm, still torn - I mean, I do already have a pot of matt black masonry paint sitting here...

    Blimey, it does indeed mention galvanised surfaces as being suitable. :D

    Is the stuff fairly durable - will it take scuffs and stuff?

    As much as any other similar paint once dry. Contact Bedec and get a sample size.
