    Hey,

Recently upgraded our heating system at home (combi boiler). It has 2 zones. Bedrooms and living area.

I've set the living area to come on every evening for an hour 5-6.
    Bedrooms at 7-8.

As the boiler is on for 2 hours and uses gas for this time would I be better off having both zones on in the one hour?

Or does having 1 zone on use less energy than 2 zones on. 3 rads in bedroom zone, 4 in living area.

    Thanks

both zones at the same time is more efficient

1 zone will use less energy as the boiler could modulate better.
    But it’s about comfort.
No point heating the bedrooms earlier than intended if they start to cool down a bit sooner.
