good idea... only renewed my insurance last week... surely if anything, what I am doing would mean it should go down as my tools would be out of sight, leaving it less likely to get broken into?

Nick, look at one-way film - my niece has just bought a Bongo which has black tinted rear windows (nice...) but which is completely see-through from the inside.
Fit a roller blind to rear of rear seat and then you can pull over the top and conceal everything in the back.

rear windows on me astra estate??? Not worth bothering on an Astara Estate - the cost of blacking out would be more than the value of the car
