Hi. Has anyone any experience with these type of testers? Ease of use etc? I'm currently looking at replacing my alphatek easitest. Opinions would be most appreciated.
Tiz the one I have too booming good bit of kit.... IF ONLY I KNEW HOW TO USE IT just kidding its great
So the 1553 with on site software is definately worth the extra? Say, over the 1502/1552? I should probably say that I dont specialise in inspect and test, so dont expect to be doing 2 a day etc! Cheers again in advance.
so how does it work this 1553 ? you do the Zs for each circuit you do some R1 R2s you do Ze etc etc etc how does it put this on a stificate? what stificate does it put it on ? I don't understand :-|(
You guys who have these, which 'body' are you with? I was just reading the software blurb, and it seems to favour NIC/Elecsa. Would appreciate your comments. Cheers.
Phase-Phase Phase-Neutral and Phase-Earth Loop Tests are possible. No danger of damage from accidental 3- phase connection.
I'm very happy with my 1552, but have always found processing the readings via 'grey matter' and pen & paper to be reliable, accurate and cost effective. Only you can know if you'll use the bluetooth, but the meter is great.
Concur ,,,, I can't imagine how a meter could gather random tests and set the results correctly onto a test cert, I'm thinking it would be overcomplicated and under used , but hey maybe I'm wrong.
I can understand where it can work if you do your tests in the order that you should/combined with having your software setup with the correct order of tests/circuits. Anyway, I wanted to know off the guys who have these if they're registered with NIC or Elecsa as the blurb on the software seems to indicate it favours them. Cheers
